About the destination

Goa, India· India

Goa is India's most beloved coastal escape — where colonial Portuguese architecture meets golden beaches, late-night beach shacks, and a laid-back rhythm unlike anywhere else in the country. The northern beaches buzz with nightlife and water sports, while South Goa offers quieter coves and heritage churches. Year-round sunshine, fresh seafood, and a festive atmosphere make Goa a perennial favourite for honeymooners, families, and solo travellers alike.

Itinerary

How the journey unfolds

Day by day, the route balances movement, comfort, local moments, and enough breathing room to actually enjoy the trip.

Touch down in Goa and feel the warm coastal breeze welcome you. Our representative will meet you at the airport / railway station and transfer you comfortably to your accommodation. Check in, freshen up, and head to Miramar Beach for a gentle introduction to Goa's coastline — a great spot to watch the sun melt into the Arabian Sea. Enjoy a leisurely dinner at a nearby beach shack, sampling Goa's famous prawn curry or fish thali. Overnight in Goa.

After a hearty breakfast, begin your North Goa exploration. Start at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Goa — the Basilica of Bom Jesus (housing the mortal remains of St Francis Xavier), the towering Se Cathedral, and the Church of St Cajetan. Drive through Panaji, the state capital, and explore the pastel-coloured lanes of the Fontainhas Latin Quarter. In the afternoon, hit the busiest beaches — Calangute and Baga — renowned for their lively shacks, cafes, and beach vibes. Wrap up with a stroll through Anjuna and the striking cliffs of Vagator. Overnight in Goa.

Today brings two very different sides of Goa. Start the morning with a visit to the Anjuna Flea Market (Wednesdays) or the Saturday Night Market at Arpora — pick up handcrafted jewellery, vintage goods, and colourful textiles. In the afternoon, make your way to Dudhsagar Falls — one of India's tallest waterfalls, best reached by a thrilling jeep safari through the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary (seasonal; check availability). After returning, freshen up and board the Mandovi River sunset cruise for an evening of Goan folk dance, live music, and sweeping views of Panaji's skyline. Overnight in Goa.

After breakfast, visit a traditional Goan spice plantation — walk through groves of vanilla, cardamom, pepper, cashew, and betel nut, and learn how these spices shaped Goa's cuisine and trade. Enjoy a wholesome Goan thali lunch amidst the greenery. Head south for a serene change of pace. Colva Beach stretches across 24 km of white sands; nearby Benaulim has a laid-back fishing village charm. Continue to the scenic crescent of Palolem Beach and, if energy permits, the unspoilt Agonda Beach — one of the cleanest in Goa. Overnight in Goa.

Savour your final Goan breakfast and enjoy a leisurely morning. Use the free time for a quick dip in the sea or some last-minute shopping — pick up cashew feni, spice kits, and Goa-style embroidered textiles from local markets. At the scheduled time, our driver will transfer you to the airport / railway station for your journey home. Until next time, Goa!

FAQs

Questions travelers usually ask before booking

What is the difference between goa001 and goa002?

goa002 adds an extra night (4N/5D vs 3N/4D), includes Dudhsagar Falls, a full South Goa beach day covering Agonda as well, and provides a more relaxed pace overall.

Is Dudhsagar Falls always accessible?

The falls are most spectacular during and just after the monsoon (July–October). During peak season (November–March) the water level is lower but the falls are still beautiful. Access via jeep safari may be restricted during heavy rain — we will confirm availability on your travel dates.

What is the best time to visit Goa?

October to March is ideal — pleasant weather, clear skies, and all attractions open. April–May is hot but off-season with lower rates. Monsoons (June–September) bring dramatic scenery and heavy discounts but sea swimming is unsafe.

Are water sports included?

Water sports are not included and are at your own cost. Your guide can facilitate jet skiing, parasailing, banana boat rides, and snorkelling at Calangute or Baga Beach.

Can this itinerary be customised?

Yes — we can adjust the pace, add casino nights, island trips to Grand Island for snorkelling, or yoga sessions. Contact us for a tailored quote.
